The British Council invites you to participate in the conference “Social Entrepreneurship as a New Model of Social Sustainable Change”, organised in partnership with Chevron and ALMA University. The aim of the conference is to explore the social entrepreneurship concept and to provide an opportunity for participants to share experience, introduce and discuss innovations, trends and challenges in the area of social entrepreneurship.
Representatives of the School for Social Entrepreneurs from the UK, the Kazakhstan Association of Social Entrepreneurs and individual social entrepreneurs are invited as speakers. Business leaders, NGOs, mass media, active youth interested in the theme of the conference and other organizations working in this field are invited as participants.
The conference will include plenary presentations, discussions, case studies, master classes and workshops.
The conference “Social Entrepreneurship as a New Model of Social Sustainable Change” will take place on 7 October 2015 from 09.00 till 16.00 at the Almaty Management University (previously International Academy of Business (IAB).

The conference is organised within the Chevron and British Council partnership project “I-SEED: Innovation – Social Entrepreneurship and Education” aimed at equipping young people with knowledge and skills they need to take up job opportunities and increase their competiveness in the labour market.
