Programme Overview
The IELTS Tutors Partnership Programme is designed to support private IELTS tutors across Kazakhstan. It offers exclusive opportunities for professional growth, access to premium teaching resources, and collaboration with the British Council — the global authority in English language assessment and education.
Eligibility Criteria
The programme is open to all IELTS tutors who:
- Live and work in Kazakhstan;
- Provide IELTS preparation classes (independently or within an educational organisation);
- Agree to comply with the programme’s terms and use British Council branded materials;
- Register their students for the IELTS test under the Private Tutors Programme (not via official IELTS Registration Partners).
Stage 1 — Selection Phase
Period: 1 November 2025 – 1 February 2026
To qualify for Stage 2, tutors must:
- Register a minimum of 15 IELTS candidates within the stated period;
- Ensure that all candidates complete payment through official registration channels.
Stage 2 — Signing the Official Partnership Agreement with the British Council
Programme Benefits and Rewards
1. Professional Development
- Free access to exclusive webinars and participation certificates;
- Membership in the global IELTS tutors’ network;
- Participation in the IELTS Teachers Training Programme (1 module every 3 months);
- Completion of the IELTS Teachers Training Programme with an international certificate;
- Opportunity to become a Certified IELTS Teachers Trainer.
2. Teaching and Marketing Resources
- Ready-to-use lesson plans, posters, banners, and Road to IELTS materials;
- Marketing and promotional support for student recruitment;
- Access to official British Council branding templates and visual assets.

- 1 free IELTS test for every 15 registered students;
- Top-performing tutors will receive a fully funded “Prepare Your Students for IELTS” course (6 weeks) from NILE;
- Eligibility for the full IELTS Teachers Certification Programme with an official international certificate;
- Inclusion in the British Council’s Private Tutors List published on the official website;
- Promotion through the British Council Kazakhstan’s official social media channels.
How to Apply
1. Complete the online tutor application form on the British Council Kazakhstan website.
2. Receive confirmation of participation and access to the IELTS registration portal.
3. After competion the Stage 1 requirements, you will receive an invitation to sign a one-year partnership agreement.
General Terms and Conditions
- The programme is available exclusively in Kazakhstan.
- The British Council reserves the right to amend programme terms and timelines.
- Participants must comply with all British Council branding and policy standards (including EDI, Safeguarding, and Anti-Corruption policies).
- All rewards (courses, certificates, free test vouchers) are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
- The organisers’ decisions are final.
