Christiaan De Beukelaer, lecturer in Cultural Management, will be giving a public talk on 22 January in Almaty.

The theme will be Cultural and Creative Industries in Kazakhstan: Models, Challenges, and Strategies.

About Christiaan De Beukelaer

Christiaan De Beukelaer is Lecturer in Cultural Management at the University of Melbourne. He obtained a PhD from the University of Leeds and holds degrees in development studies (MSc, Leuven), cultural studies (MA, Leuven), and musicology (BA, Amsterdam). His research connects cultural policy and international development. He is a member of the U40 Network, and is winner of the 2012 Cultural Policy Research Award
