We administer exams for a wide range of British universities and colleges.

University of London

University of London degrees have been accessible to students worldwide through their International Programmes since 1858. Today, University of London has over 40,000 students in more than 180 countries studying for 100 different programmes.

Open University

The Open University (OU) is the United Kingdom’s only university dedicated to distance learning.

With an international reputation for innovative education, enterprise and leading edge but practical research, Heriot-Watt`s Edinburgh Business School is one of the leading UK institutions for business and industry.

Warwick University

The University of Warwick is one of the UK’s leading universities, with an acknowledged reputation for excellence in research and teaching for innovation and for links with business and industry.

Other UK universities

Re-sit exams (usually held July-September) for all UK universities can be taken at the British Council in Kazakhstan. Please contact your University first to obtain their permission and then send us your application form.

We can also organise other exams on behalf of any UK educational institution on demand. Please contact us for more information.

How much will it cost?

Exam Administration fees will be incurred. Administration fees include venue charges, invigilation charges, secure storage of question papers and scripts. This does not include examination fees charged by your university and courier charges. Please confirm with your university for exam fees and courier charges depend on the country which the scripts have to be sent back. Please contact us for administration fees and courier charges.

It is important to check with your institute if the invigilation services fee has been included in the tuition fee or examination fees. The candidate will be charged if it is not covered by the institute.

Payment for Distance exams (university and professional) if covered by individuals

Confirm with the Awarding body the possibility of sitting the test with the British Council either in Almaty or Astana
Send your booking request form to this e-mail indicating test dates, start/finish time of the test, location (Almaty/Astana), name of the awarding body
We will send you a confirmation statement and invoice for payment within 5 working days
Payment should be made via bank transfer within 5 calendar days before the test date
Please quote name of the test, test date, location and your full name on the bank payment order
Please submit the copy of the bank payment receipt on the test day

The British Council and the examining boards take all reasonable steps to provide continuity of service. Therefore, please understand that we cannot be held responsible for any interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control. If examinations or their results are disrupted, cancelled or delayed, every effort will be made to resume normal service as soon as possible. The British Council’s liability will be limited to the refund of the registration fee or retesting at a later date.
