The British Council wishes to recruit two English language teachers for one-year assignments, to deliver English language training in Astana, to holders of the President of Kazakhstan’s Bolashak scholarship scheme, from 25 September 2016.

We are looking for teachers with:

  • A CELTA qualification or equivalent plus one year’s full-time post-CELTA relevant teaching experience
  • Experience of teaching IELTS

Location Astana
Salary Salary range of KZT 505,000 – 707,000 per month depending on qualifications/experience (current British Council book-keeping rate in June £1 = KZT 490)
Duration 12 months
Working hours 24 hours teaching per week / 38 hours including administration
Closing date Sunday 26 June 2016
