On 21 April 2016 the Queen’s Elizabeth II celebrated her 90th birthday but she also has an official birthday to be celebrated on 11 June 2016. To mark the upcoming official celebration of Her Majesty’s 90th birthday we are inviting you to take part in our quiz devoted to kings and queens of Great Britain and of course to Queen Elizabeth II.
The quiz questions are based on materials from the LearnEnglish and LearnEnglish Teens websites.
To take part in the online quiz you need to:
- Register on the LearnEnglish website
- Work through the materials of the LearnEnglish and LearnEnglishTeens
- Complete the online quiz for your chance to win prizes! We have prepared tips to help you with the quiz.
- Send your answers and username on LearnEnglish website to this e-mail with “Kings and Queens Quiz” in the subject line.
Starting date: 1 June 2016
Closing date: 17 June 2016
Participants who answer all the questions correctly will automatically be entered for prize draw with the chance to win a tablet or smartphone. The results will be publicised via social media on 27 June 2016.
Participants must be:
- Citizens of Kazakhstan, aged 18 or over
- Registered on the LearnEnglish website
The online quiz is not open to British Council staff members or their relatives.
No cash equivalent will be given for prizes.
