Test Date Transfer
- Candidates may transfer test dates within the next three months period if they notify the test centre more than five weeks before the elected test date. The centre may charge an administrative fee of no more than 25%.
- Candidates who wish to transfer test dates within the five-week period prior to the test date will be treated as a cancellation and receive no transfer
- Candidates who seek to transfer test dates within the five-working prior to the test date will only receive a transfer if they can satisfy to the Administrator that their ability to sit the test has been affected by illness or serious cause. Serious causes include only:
- Illness – e.g. hospital admission or injury (does not include minor illness such as a mild cold). Candidates must provide a medical certificate
- Loss or bereavement – death of a close family member
- Hardship/trauma – victim of crime, victim of a traffic accident
- Military service.
- Candidates who are not able to attend test date due to any of aforementioned causes must lodge an application for transfer to the test centre no later than five working days after the test date. Candidates must complete a Request for Refund or Test Date Transfer Form and attach the appropriate documentation and/or evidence. Acceptable documents include only a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner, a death notice or certificate, or a police report. Statutory declarations and/or certificates signed by family members are not acceptable
- If the candidate’s application is approved, candidates must select a test date within the next three month period and this will be approved by the Administrator depending on availability for the selected test date
- Candidates who wish to transfer to a test date more than three months away should apply for a refund and then re-apply for the test

Enquiry on Results
- An Enquiry on Result is a request by a candidate for the IELTS Life Skills tests to be re-marked. The re-marking is carried out within eight weeks after the application is accepted by the Head Office
- Candidates must submit their EOR request and supporting documents to the Administrator within six weeks of the test date:
- EOR application form
- Original TRF
- Bank account form
- ID copy
- Bank payment confirmation
- Candidates must pay an EOR fee of 75 GBP determined by the Test Partners
- If a candidate is awarded a higher score than the original, a new Test Report Form will be issued and full refund of the EOR fee will be given to the candidate by the centre
- If there is no improvement to the original score, the candidate will be notified. No new TRF will be issued and there will be no refund of the re-mark fee.
