The Creative Spark Forum is a platform for identifying key issues and discussing necessary changes aimed at strengthening the influence of the role of higher education institutions in the development of creative industries.                                           

The forum is held as a continuation of the seminars on the development of creative entrepreneurship in universities. As a result, a report was formed on the main barriers and challenges that the partner universities in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan faced during the implementation of the Creative Spark program. The report will be presented during the Forum. 

In 2021, the Project Office for the Development of Creative Industries in Kazakhstan has begun developing a Concept for the Development of Creative Industries until 2025, where the education sector also plays a special role. The Forum will discuss the expectations and opportunities of involving higher education institutions in the implementation of the Concept, especially in terms of training creative entrepreneurs.

Forum participants

Universities and partner organizations of the Creative Spark program, universities of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, JSC Centre for International Programs, quasi-governmental organizations involved in the development of creative industries. 

Language of the event: Russian. The recording will be available with Kazakh and English subtitles.
