We would like to invite music lovers to enjoy classical masterpieces by such renowned composers as Bach, Chopin, Schnittke, Lutoslawski performed by Kazakh violinist Galya Bisengalieva and English pianist James Kirby. 

The concert will take place on 17 May 2015 at 19:00 at the State Theatre of Opera and Ballet «Astana Opera».

“Notes from London” - is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the brilliant performance of virtuoso musicians.

Musicians’ bios:

Galya Bisengalieva - a gifted Kazakh violinist who was born into a musical family and began playing at the age of five under Alma Abatova. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London under Gyõrgy Pauk with First Class Honours in 2009 and from the Royal College of Music with Distinction under Yossi Zivoni in 2011. 

James Kirby teaches at the Royal Welsh College in Cardiff, Royal Holloway and the University of London. He is an Honorary Professor at the Rachmaninov Institute in Russia. In 2015 James Kirby is celebrating his fiftieth birthday with visits to Kazakhstan, Malaysia and Scotland as well as many concerts throughout the UK.
