Meet the winners of Big Idea Challenge 2022!
The Big Idea Challenge video pitch competition of Creative Spark programme, which encourages young people to develop an innovative ‘startup’ and present it to the world, has now been completed. Students, graduates and young entrepreneurs from seven countries have actively participated in diverse Creative Spark activities and competed to defend their business ideas. This year’s competition was run in three categories:
Social Impact
Ideas that tackle social inclusion and gender equality or target under-represented communities and the world beyond. This includes any idea that aims to help those most in need.
Creative
Ideas for a new product, an exhibition or a way to make the cultural environment more vibrant. New ideas that will help creative people reach new audiences and become more successful.
Digital Technology
Ideas that are based on innovative uses of technology and involve the development and application of new software or hardware.
It has been a very competitive process with lots of great ideas from participants.

All winners have received a support prize package including a place in the Launchpad Programme, Personalised 1-on-1 mentoring and free startup perks. In addition, the country champions won an award grant of £1000 GBP each. Currently, participants are working with an experienced startup mentor who supports them with the development of their idea and guides them through the next steps. At the end of the mentorship programme they will be equipped with all necessary skills and knowledge to make their business a reality.
