FOCUS: Product Development

This workshop examined the process of developing and commercialising new products. It first focused on the transition from concept to prototype and then the commercialisation of these products.

Below you can also watch the video of Neal's public talk, given on 11 September 2015 in Almaty. The theme of the talk was ‘Locality. People. Process. Creating a sense.’ During his speech, Gareth and the local designers tried to answer such questions as ‘what is a local design?’ and ‘how to create a Kazakh chair?’
